Production Center
Services/Equipment
As part of the Office of Library Media Services, the
Production Center houses a myriad of graphics supplies
and equipment. Described as a "make & take" facility,
the Production Center provides access to equipment and
all necessary supplies, paper and lamination at no cost
to those eligible. Any classroom materials made on site
at the center are yours to take.
Requests for custom made instructional manipulatives
such as game boards or playing cards; graphic design,
illustration, computer generated art or production for
posters, table-top displays, banners and other related
graphic materials; and quantities of Zoomer® posters
exceeding 100, are made by submitting a Production
Center Services work request form available online, at
the Production Center, or can be sent to your site via
basket mail or FAX.
Available equipment includes:
• Ellison Die Cuts: a lettermachine system that stamps
individual or multiple letter and graphic forms from a
variety of materials
• GBC Comb Binding: all-in-one manually operated system
that uses a two step process to produce spiral-bound
books or instructional manuals
• Zoomer® poster makers: 2 large format copiers that
produce oversized prints (18"x24") from an 8.5"x11"
black and white original on a rainbow of colored,
poster-quality paper
• Roll Laminators: a station of thermal, roll-fed
laminators conveniently available during hours of
operation
• Computer Station: both MAC and PC format with color
inkjet printing capability
